Sunita Kotnala is a social development professional with a Master of Social Work degree. With extensive experience of public sector, international development and the civil society organisations (CSO’s) in the Asia Pacific, she brings her experience of working in the social welfare service delivery, crime prevention and city planning, gender based violence, urban poverty and sustainability. She lives in Sydney, Australia and consult globally to address issues of inequality, safety, 2030 Agenda and cross sector governance.
Sunita Kotnala began working with SAFP in 2007, initially as an Advisory Board Member- Strategy and Governance ( 2007-2016) and working in a paid consultantcy from time to time. She resigned from the Advisory Board following the changes to NGO organisation management and continues to provide consultancy services to SAFP in paid and unpaid capacity. Sunita conceptualised and developed the Safety, Care and Neighborhood (SCAN) programme for SAFP.
